SCOPE OF WORK

3.1 Vendor shall be responsible for the design, supply of materials, fabrication, provision of drawings and data, shop assembling, shop inspection and tests, mechanical guarantee, painting, packing, transportation and satisfactory operation of the entire unit to the extent of the Vendor’s supply.Firewater Pump

3.2 Purchaser’s approval shall in no way be construed as relieving Vendor of any of his obligation, responsibilities under the CONTRACT and/ or applicable codes and standards.

Should Purchaser fail to comment, or only partially comment, upon Vendor document, this shall not be construed as an acceptance of the content of such document unless expressly provided otherwise.

3.3 The scope of work for the equipment shall include, but not be limited to the following:

3.4 Diesel Engine Driven Firewater Pump Units (130- P- 102 B/C)
The scope of supply for the diesel engine driven firewater pump sets shall include, but not be limited to the following:

Cooling water system

  • Lube oil system
  • Fuel system
  • Starting system including Nickel-cadmium batteries, batteries charger, rack etc.
  • Air inlet system
  • Exhaust system including expansion joints and spark arresting muffler (loose supply)
  • Anti-vibration mounts installed under the engine
  • Governor

3.5 Electric Motor Driven Firewater pump Units ( 130- P- 102 A)

The scope of supply for the electric motor driven firewater pump sets shall include, but not be limited
to the following:

The scope of supply for the firewater jockey pump sets shall include, but not be limited to the following:

3.7 The following items shall be considered Optional Items. Separate consolidated proposal for them shall be included in the bid documents package.

3.8 The following are out of Vendor’s scope of work/ supply unless otherwise stated in this Specification:

3.9 Spare Parts

3.9.1 Spare parts erection, pre- commissioning, commissioning and start-up Spare parts for erection, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start- up shall be supplied and delivered together with the equipment based on the manufacture’s recommendation.

3.9.2 Spare parts for two (2) years operation
Vendor shall establish and submit for approval a detailed list of spare parts recommended for first two (2) years of continuous operation of the plant, specifying quantities, unitary prices and schedule for delivery.
